About L.E. Coleman

No company is without its own creation story so I'd like to tell you about ours. Kathryn Crowner and I started this publishing company in Indianapolis in October 2006 in response to our desire to bring to the marketplace self-help material that focused on helping men and women take charge of their life. Our mission was, and still is, to help individuals become their own therapist, their own authority, without depending on the current religious, political and social institutions to make their choices for them. I had been studying the concepts, beliefs, and principles behind many of the world's major religious texts, sacred traditions, and esoteric spiritual writings for some time and I came to conclusion that people contained within themselves the divine power to create the kind of life they always wanted. Thus, our goal as a publishing entity was to offer books which took individuals on a journey of spiritual self-exploration, not from an analytical frame of reference, but from an observational frame of reference in which individuals do not judge themselves as right or wrong, moral or immoral, but simply learn to accept themselves the way they are without trying to be what others expected them to be. Our first book, 'The Black Man's Little Book of Success Secrets,' was published by Canadian Publisher, Athse Publishing, and was offered as a print on demand book. Crowner-Coleman retained the rights to publish the book in audio format and released it as the first Crowner-Coleman title. The results? The Black Man's Little Book of Success Secrets was recognized by The National Best Book 2007 Awards for being among the top self-help/ motivational books published in 2006.
We call our books 'real' because they are intended to get down in the emotional trenches where you live. Many people struggle with self-esteem issues and family and relationship problems and are often bombarded with everything pop psychology has to offer. We want to offer you something different, a new paradigm of how to look at these problems from a spiritual perspective, a divine point of view in order to help you formulate your own solutions. After all, no one can live your life but you.

L.E. COLEMAN has spent over twenty-five years working with various individuals and populations in the areas of mental health and social services. He is the author of the award winning audio book, “The Black Man’s Little Book of Success Secrets: 7 Spiritual Secrets for Breaking the Curse of Poverty.” His other titles include “How to Stop Hatin Yo Baby’s Momma: A Spiritual and Emotional Guide for Non-Custodial Fathers,” “We the People of Color: For Sale to the Lowest Bidder” and “How to Avoid a Stupid Man: A Woman’s Guide to Attracting Her Soul Mate.” He is a member of various writing communities and a regular contributor with AllExperts.com giving advice in the area of dating and relationships. His dating articles have been featured on numerous relationship websites. Mr. Coleman is a professional songwriter and a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and the Songwriters Guild of America. He resides in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife.
